Opelka fires back at keyboard warriors on Twitter

Twitter can really bring out the worst in people. Being a public figure makes you a target for a lot of online criticism, and even more so when you play a sport where people are placing bets on your matches.

So Reilly Opelka took to Twitter to respond to some of his most vocal haters.

The world No. 37 didn't respond with the same negativity he was faced with, opting to make light of the situation.

The young American, who recently lost in the Basel semifinals, seemed to be regaining his form this past week in Switzerland. He defeated No. 4 seed Roberto Bautista Agut and No. 6 seed David Goffin before falling short against Alex de Minaur.
