It's not every day that Naomi Osaka gets interviewed by someone half her age. On the heels of Q&As with Brad Pitt and Oprah Winfrey, 11-year-old Jaden Jefferson of Toledo, Ohio, staged an opportunity with Osaka.

The interview aired on October 22 on The Ellen Show, the primary vehicle from which comedian-turned-mogul Ellen DeGeneres continues to influence as NextGen Oprah.

The Osaka-Jefferson conversation is the latest that the 22-year-old winner of two majors has put on for friend DeGeneres' programming, most recently appearing on The Ellen Show just a month ago. Given her bright-red pantsuit in this backstage Q&A with budding reporter Jefferson, it can be deduced that it was shot at the same time as that September showing.
