Sharapova attends Givenchy show in Paris

Maria Sharapova was one of Givenchy's star-studded guest for the unveiling of their Spring/Summer 2020 collection during Paris Fashion Week.

The five-time Grand Slam champion wore an eye-catching belted blazer with straight leg trousers that showed off her lean figure.

Sharapova attended the fashion event with her boyfriend Alexander Gilkes. The 32-year-old confirmed their relationship last year when they took a romantic getaway together.

The new collection is designed by Clare Waight Keller, and exhibits a "blended Paris" sophisticated essence combined with the raw tone of New York City.

Sharapova recently took a straight set first-round loss in the latest edition of the US Open against Serena Williams. The Russian missed the majority of this season due to a shoulder injury. Though she skipped a few weeks in Asia, she will attempt to capture her first title of the year next week at the Linz Open.

She last played in Luxembourg in 2003, losing to Kim Clijsters in the semifinals.
