Since defeating Serena Williams in the US Open final, it's been a whirlwind of photoshoots and TV appearances for 19-year-old Bianca Andreescu.

Following her triumph in New York, Andreescu made her Jimmy Fallon debut, the city of Mississauga held a parade in her honor, she joined in on the Tim & Sid ESPN show; the list goes on and on.

But now it's back to business for the Canadian. Andreescu is currently in Beijing preparing for her first showing since the US Open.

She's currently on a 13-match winning streak, after claiming her home tournament in Toronto and picking up the last major of the year. Andreescu missed a chunk of the 2019 season due to a shoulder injury, yet even with missing months of match play, she has won four titles.

At the China Open, she will be joined by many other Grand Slam champions including Ashleigh Barty, Venus Williams, Naomi Osaka and Simona Halep. Serena is entered but as of Thursday, she was still in Florida.

The draw will certainly present a challenge  for Andreescu, but she has yet to fall to a Top 10 player in 2019.

"I'm greedy," she said in her last US Open presser. Expect the same hunger and desire to be on display next week in China.
