On Sunday in Geneva, Team Europe won the 2019 Laver Cup, marking their third win over Team World in a row. But the real winners were Fedal fans, as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal stole the show, on the court and on the sidelines.

Coach Fedal

On Friday, when Jack Sock stormed to a 6-1 lead over Team Europe's Fabio Fognini, Federer and Nadal did all they could to help.

It somehow didn't work, as Fognini would drop the match, giving Sock his first singles win of 2019 and Team World's first-ever Day 1 singles victory.

Coach Rafa

The next day, it was the Swiss who needed an assist when he was down a set and 5-4 to Nick Kyrgios. His pal Nadal accepted the challenge.

Nadal would come back for another chat on the next changeover.

Federer would win the match, 6-7 (5), 7-5, 10-7.

Double Duty

Nadal would then pull double duty on Saturday night. First he beat Milos Raonic in straight sets, and then teamed up with Stefanos Tsitsipas to take on Sock and John Isner. While everyone was disappointed to not see Fedal team up, they did take a run to the locker room together.

Nadal had a little trouble communicating with Tsitsipas, but Federer came through with a solution.

Nadal and Tsitsipas would drop the deciding tiebreaker, letting Team World back into the tie going into the final day.

Sidelines Spotlight

On Sunday, Nadal was sidelined with a left wrist injury, pulling out of both singles against Kyrgios and doubles with Federer. He still shared a lot of moments on the sidelines with Federer, who won a crucial match over Isner to keep Team Europe's hopes alive.

Nervous Finale

The nerves were real in the final match of the day with the title on the line as Raonic took the court against Alexander Zverev.

Nadal and Federer leaned on each other during the ups and downs of the dramatic final leg.

It all worked out in the end for Federer and Team Europe, with Zverev winning it in a deciding tiebreaker, marking the second year in a row he's clinched the trophy.

Though a lot of attention was on Federer and Nadal, the win was a true team effort, and so was the celebration.

From the looks of it, Federer doesn't have any hard feelings against Nadal for closing the gap on his Grand Slam record to just one. Combined, they contributed 8 of Team Europe's 13 points. Next year's Laver Cup will take place in Boston.
