The family that frays together stays together?

Something like that, as WTA pro Kristyna Pliskova beckoned sister Karolina Pliskova to the court to coach her mid-match in the Korea Open's second round in Seoul.

Pliskova the Elder brought her two-minutes-younger sister out to provide tactical assistance in the midst of a three-set battle against No. 2 seed (and fellow 27-year-old) Ekaterina Alexandrova. Ultimately, the Czech dropped a tough 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 scoreline.

Pliskova's fellow competitor in South Korea, quarterfinalist Kristie Ahn, looked fondly on the scene.

To her own credit, Karolina qualified for the WTA Finals in Shenzhen, later this year by way of claiming her fourth singles title of 2019 last week.
