Khachanov welcomes baby boy with heartwarming picture

With forthcoming title defenses at the Kremlin Cup and Paris Masters, Karen Khachanov has a very busy autumn ahead of him. What's more, he recently became a father.

The 23-year-old announced the birth of a baby boy on Instagram on Saturday:

Naturally, he and his wife, Veronika, were showered with congratulations on social media.

"Welcome to the club," Taylor Fritz wrote via Instagram, joining the plethora of other players to leave emoji-laden comments, including Stan Wawrinka, Novak Djokovic, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Still seeking his first title of 2019, Khachanov is the No. 2 seed at the St. Petersburg Open this week, where he'll open against the winner of Joao Sousa and Jozef Kovalik. The world No. 9 was also recently announced to represent Russia, alongside Daniil Medvedev, in January's ATP Cup.
