+10 — Up to No. 5 from No. 15

US Open champion Bianca Andreescu has been rewarded for her amazing run in New York by jumping the rankings by 10 spots to reach a new career-best ranking of world No. 5. The 19-year-old stormed past Serena Williams in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5, to earn her first major title.

With a great run at the US Open, which saw her upset Wimbledon champion Simona Halep, Townsend finally reached her potential at a global level. The qualifier ultimately lost in the fourth round, losing her chances at a trophy, but getting a secondary prize a return to the Top 100.

+34 — Up to No. 106 from No. 140

The 15-year-old who is well on her way to the top of the world has positioned herself on the brink of breaking into the Top 100 after winning two matches at the US Open. She fell to Naomi Osaka in the third round, but fans know that they will be seeing more from the American in no time.

+2 — Up to No. 10 from No. 12

Perhaps not the biggest mover this week, but the Swiss player's run to the semifinals in New York helped her return to the Top 10. She scored notable wins over Donna Vekic and Osaka. Bencic has not been in the Top 10 since June 2016.

+12 — Up to No. 13 from No. 25

Italy's top prospect stunned himself and the draw when he reached the semifinals fo the US Open. Though dismissed by eventual champion Rafael Nadal, Berrettini had a thrilling Grand Slam breakthrough complete with a five-set win over Gael Monfils in the quarterfinals.
