Sean Loose is the creator and illustrator behind the 2019 US Open's theme art. The inspiration behind the design came from New York City fans. The crowd is electric and full of energy so Loose really wanted to bring together a piece that was fan focused.

"The design process was a long one, but I think it was well worth it for this poster," Loose said.

After four months and three different design concepts, the US Open hired Loose for the job. All the hard work paid off and his art can be see all over New York City, at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center and on your tickets.
