Taylor Fritz is one of many recent American NextGen players that shows amazing promise. The 21 year old from California had a strong juniors career and has secured multiple Challenger and Futures titles. This season has been a breakthrough year for him on the professional tour, securing his first ATP Tour title and reaching two back-to-back finals along the way. Here is a look at Fritz's career so far through a social media lens:

Last year, Fritz scored the biggest title of his career at that point by winning the Newport Beach Open, his first Challenger title in two years. To make it extra special, the match was in front of a home crowd, only a few miles for his current residence in Palos Verdes.

In January 2017, Fritz and his wife Racquel Pedraza of one year at that point, a fellow tennis player, welcomed their son into the world. And, yes, he is possibly the cutest baby on the entire tour.

The American has also shown some skill on the doubles tour. Last season in August, he joined partner Thanasi Kokkinakis at the Abierto Los Cabos 250 tournament, reaching the final before ending with the runner-up trophy.

It wouldn't be long before Fritz claimed his first ATP Tour title, winning Eastbourne back in June by defeating Sam Querrey in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. This would be the beginning of a string of final appearances during the grass and hard court seasons.

Not long after Fritz won his first ATP Tour title, he earned his place in two back-to-back finals, the Atlanta Open and the Los Cabos Open. Despite losing both, and being particularly frustrated by the latter, his performances show that he is only one big title away from becoming a special American player.
