Montreal has featured a ton of high-quality play this week, as evidenced by a slew of hot shots coming in from all directions. Here's a look at the week in hot-shot fashion:

1

Daniil Medvedev

The Russian has been thriving during the US Open Series. He reached the Washington final, and then stormed to his first ATP Masters 1000 final. The world No. 9 didn't lose a set until his loss to Rafael Nadal, beating Karen Khachanov in the semifinals with effort like this:

2

Fabio Fognini

He wouldn't be Fognini if there wasn't a moment of boldness—like this double drop-shot point. The Italian put up a fight against eventual champion Nadal, winning the first set, but ultimately got outdone, 2-6, 6-1, 6-2.

3

Rafael Nadal

The world No. 2 has been in fine form this summer as he picked up his 35th ATP Masters 1000 title, in Montreal. In an early-round win over Guido Pella, Nadal whipped out an over-the-shoulder overhead with aplomb.

4

Dan Evans

The Brit had the misfortune of drawing Nadal in the first round, but he didn't give up and got in a few cheeky shots including this forehand on-the-run winner.

5

Kyle Edmund

Edmund lost to a red-hot Medvedev in the second round, but not before knocking out Washington champion Nick Kyrgios, complete with a pick-up drop-shot winner.

Nadal has withdrawn from the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, but expect to see a ton more hot shots from the likes of Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and more.
