Somehow, Grigor Dimitrov has drawn Stan Wawrinka in the first round of next week's Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati. This this first-round matchup feels like a serious case of déjà vu.

Wawrinka and Dimitrov just played in the first round of Montreal this week, with the Swiss winning 6-4, 6-4.

Before that, they faced off in the third round of Roland Garros and the first rounds of last year's Wimbledon and the US Open. The bad new for Dimitrov is Wawrinka has won all four of those meetings. T

he last time Dimitrov beat the three-time major champion was in Cincinnati in 2016, and he's only managed to win one set in their four recent early-round meetings. These draws are making the world No. 54's plans to return to the Top 20 much harder.

Wawrinka was in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup doubles draw (with Benoit Paire), but withdrew. The world No. 22 will take on Dimitrov, again, on Monday.
