There's nothing like a dog's love and support to help get you through. For CoCo Vandeweghe her precious pet is a beautiful white darling named Duchess—who you may have seen before.

Earlier this year, the American filmed her furry friend going after tennis balls during practice, and Duchess has made multiple appearances on My Tennis Life.

Last year, Vandeweghe became a Grand Slam champion by winning the doubles title at the US Open with Ashleigh Barty, but she's been off the tour for nine months dealing with ankle and foot injuries.

This week, the 27-year-old Californian officially back. She returned at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic where she posted her first win since June 2018. She lost in the second round to world No. 10 Aryna Sabalenka, but at least she has Duchess around to cheer her up.
