For half a century, Billie Jean King has used her voice to fight for social justice and equality. Now 75, the 12-time Grand Slam singles champion is taking a new approach to push for inclusion in the workplace.

On Tuesday, her non-profit—the Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative—announced in partnership with Brooklyn-based toy company FCTRY the launch of the Billie Jean King Action Figure. Standing approximately six inches tall, the figure is the latest in a series produced by FCTRY with a connection to a cause. Five percent of sales ($1/figure) will go towards the BJKLI’s programs, which include symposiums and industry-leading research.

“It is an honor to have an action figure in my likeness and to be part of the FCTRY collection alongside Ruth Bader Ginsburg and other powerful leaders,” King said. “I hope this will help young people learn more about history and that it will inspire them to shape the future.”

The Long Beach, Calif. native's likeness will also take center stage on September 21 when the Los Angeles Dodgers host Billie Jean King Bobblehead Night. King, along with partner Ilana Kloss, joined the Dodgers' ownership group last September.
