Hailey Baptiste is only 17-years-old and is looking to turn pro this year.

Earlier this year, the American rallied past seven opponents to claim her first title at an ITF 25K in Plantation, Fla. In the final, she posted a straight-set win over world No. 272 Anna Bondor.

Baptiste is currently ranked No. 263 on the WTA Tour.

The rising star captured her second ITF 25K title in Sumter last month. She defeated world No. 529 Victoria Duval in straight sets in the final.

But the player she really hopes to share the same court with in the future is Serena Williams. If she keeps up the winning trend she might just get her chance.

Baptiste is playing the Citi Open in Washington this week as a wild card entry and faces Madison Keys in the first round.
