Amanda Anisimova and Danielle Collins extended their time on grass for the chance to take part in an exhibition at one of the most historic tennis venues: the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI.

After Anisimova teamed up with Gigi Fernandez to take on Collins and Rhode Island native Jill Craybas, the two treated fans to a friendly singles contest early Friday evening.

"I'm excited, I've always wanted to come here and it's really special to be invited and to play with Amanda here. I'm looking forward to taking everything in," Collins told Baseline.

Earlier in the day, Anisimova and Collins had the chance to tour the Hall of Fame's museum, viewing a variety of exhibits. When asked about their most surprising takeaway, Anisimova said, "The tennis ball cans, I never thought they made graphic designs on them."

"I thought it was really cool seeing the machine they used to make racquets in the earlier days, I wasn't expecting to see that," Collins said.

Collins and Anisimova each made Grand Slam semifinal runs this year at the Australian Open and French Open, respectively. Both are expected to begin their U.S. hard-court swing in San Jose, Calif.
