On Sunday, in what many are already calling one of the greatest Grand Slam finals of the Open era, Novak Djokovic earned his fifth Wimbledon title and 16th Grand Slam after defeating Roger Federer in nearly five hours.

Winning an eventual fifth-set tiebreaker, the first in the men's tournament's singles history, the Serbian fought back against two match points and multiple break opportunities by Federer to prevail, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 13-12 (3). In fact, this match had many "firsts", including the longest rally in a Wimbledon final (35 shots) and being the longest men's singles final in London.

Naturally, after such an intense match, people took to social media to express their love for both Djokovic and Federer.

For now, Federer is taking his loss in stride, but is already planning the rest of his season, reportedly skipping Montreal and heading straight to Cincinnati for his next tournament, while Djokovic is simply savoring his victory.
