Wimbledon is a place and tournament of tradition. The all-white dress code, strawberries and cream, the perfectly manicured grass-courts—it's a place where nothing much has changed since it all began back in 1877.

However, Chris Fava decided it was time for a little change that soon would also become tradition. Fava is a creative director from Venice Beach, California who loves the sport and made a last minute trip to London years ago. It would not be the last.

In 2013, the Californian decided to take a risk, buy a costume, and sneak through security to reveal "blue sky man." This unique idea would start a frenzy that all Wimbledon fans and even players instantly loved and soon would embrace as its new tradition.

The Trophy outfit was added into Wimbledon's museum this year, but Chris Fava wasn't done. Just like any professional tennis player, consistency is key. He kept the tradition rolling by dressing as "Centre Court" at this year's Wimbledon.

Fava loves playing a part in the tennis world, but he never imagined his outfits would go viral—and, even more impressive, influence change in one of the most traditional places.
