Grass is quickly becoming Taylor Fritz’s preferred surface. The 21-year-old American has been on fire in Eastbourne, taking out top-seeded Guido Pella and hitting some jaw-dropping shots in the process.

Fritz’s game is tailor made for the grass courts, and his huge serve and penetrating groundstrokes should serve him well next week at Wimbledon. The world No. 42 has never made it past the second round at the All England Club, and is about 10 spots shy of earning a seeding.

He chatted with Tennis Channel's Prakash Amritraj after a straight-set win over Hubert Hurkacz on Thursday.

Fritz then beat top seed Kyle Edmund on Friday, to set up a final showdown with Sam Querrey. Fritz has been in just one ATP final before, Memphis in 2016.
