Wheaties put a true champion on their cereal box this month with Serena Williams appearing in her Wimbledon whites. The 23-time Grand Slam champion is the second black female tennis player to make the box cover after Althea Gibson in 2001.

"I couldn’t be more happy and more excited," Serena said in her Instagram Story. "It was always a dream of mine. Now other people and other females and women can have the same dream."

Serena joins some elite company with past tennis players featured on Wheaties including Gibson, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Chris Evert and Arthur Ashe. She's the first tennis player on the cover since Agassi in 2005.

The world No. 11 will next play at Wimbledon, which starts on Monday. She last won the grass Slam in 2016.
