WATCH: Ivanovic takes on her husband in sports challenge

Ana Ivanovic has been retired from tennis for almost two and a half years now, but her athletic and competitive drive is still going strong, as evidenced by the seven-sport "Ana vs. Basti" challenge she had with her husband, Bastian Schweinsteiger.

And, for maximum entertainment, they posted the highlights on social media in a series of highly produced videos.

The first event was squash, which being a racquet sport, gave Ivanovic a huge advantage. But the Chicago Fire soccer star would tie the score at 1 by being better at basketball, even when shooting with his feet:

He also won in a footrace, before losing to Ivanovic in a plank contest. Then came cycling, which Schweinsteiger won, though the former No. 1 later evened things at 3 points each by dominating at tennis.

Finally, in a series-decided game of foosball, Ivanovic scored the winning goal, and looked as happy as if she'd won a WTA title.

If there's any lesson to be learned from Ivanovic's first few years in retirement, it's that tennis players have lots of adventures left to live even after their careers are over.
