Hot Shot: Struff strikes passing shot in Halle

Although the hometown favorite, Jan-Lennard Struff couldn't overcome Karen Khachanov in Halle. But, the German kept Khachanov on his toes by going for big shots, and running down every ball.

The German earned the hot shot of the day accolades when he was pulled into the net by Khachanov's drop shot. Struff barely reached the ball tipping it back into Khachanov's side of the court, and the world No. 9 answered back by lobbing the ball over Struff. Struff turned around quickly, chased down the lob and ripped a forehand passing shot to win the point.

Khachanov still ended up taking the match 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, to advance to the quarterfinals in Halle.
