Martina Navartilova is gearing up for Wimbledon 2019 by hitting the...clay? The nine-time Wimbledon champion grew up on red clay in the small town of Revnice in the Czech Republic.

While she would go on to set records on the grass lawns of Wimbledon, including winning it six times in a row, she also won two Roland Garros titles.

Fellow 18-time Grand Slam champion Chris Evert reacted to Navratilova's photo.

"I remember you took me to your club many, many years ago," she wrote on Twitter. "Your mom’s dumplings were also delicious! I think people forget you learned on red clay!"

There's still a few more weeks to go before Wimbledon starts on July 1.
