It's finally happening: Maria Sharapova is coming back. The five-time Grand Slam champion accepted a wild card for Mallorca, a WTA International grass-court event.

The 32-year-old hasn't played a match since St. Petersburg back in January. She's on the beautiful Spanish island early to prepare.

Mallorca happens to be the home of Rafael Nadal, who just won his 12th Roland Garros crown. His uncle, Toni Nadal, is the tournament director.

Sharapova had to miss the event while still rehabbing from surgery on her right shoulder. She's currently ranked No. 86 after losing a chunk of points during the clay season.

The Mallorca Open kicks off on June 17 and features some big names including Angelique Kerber and Victoria Azarenka. It will be Sharapova's Mallorca debut.
