Andrea Petkovic may have lost her third-round match to Ashleigh Barty at Roland Garros Saturday, but she won the Twittersphere with her post-match thread.

After falling to the No. 8-seeded Barty, 6-1, 6-3, the German revealed a number of storylines she watched play out ahead of taking the court. From seeing her countryman Jan-Lennard Struff serve and volley his way out of trouble deep in the fifth set, to watching the triumph and disappointment unfold between Iga Swiatek and Monica Puig, Petkovic had much to say in a rant titled: "here is why I love this sport - A THREAD"
