Don't pity the Foo: You might LYFAO about this news, but Redfoo is back in the tennis realm.

Though he's the spawn of Motown royalty, the musician (nee Stefan Gordy) remains arguably best known in tennis circles for dating Victoria Azarenka a few years ago.

Now, Redfoo has signed on with the Vegas Rollers World TeamTennis outfit, which includes doubles GOATs Bob and Mike Bryan, veterans Sam Querrey and Asia Muhammad, and tall-tree Reilly Opelka.

Foo won't appear in WTT action, though—his role has been defined as that of assistant coach, or "ace," someone who will lead "fan interactions." In a Vegas Rollers team statement, he was quoted as saying, "I'm here to give the Rollers party rockin' vibes. And to inspire them to take home the trophy! Yeahhhhhhh baby!”

So perhaps he will mostly serve as hype man.

The pop-rock huckster, known for his "Party Rock" anthem whilst fronting the band LMFAO, remains a lifelong tennis player and fan, one addicted to the sport. Previously, he sponsored the Las Vegas–based USTA Pro Circuit tournament, a $50,000 event, in 2012 and 2013.

The Rollers team begins its season in Orlando before a first home match on July 20.
