Naomi Osaka's stock keeps rising, and rightly so. The 21-year-old will be the top seed at Roland Garros after securing her No. 1 ranking with a quarterfinal finish in Rome.

In a feature with *FT Magazine,* the Japanese star talked about how she wants to become like her idols, namely Serena Williams, and clear a path (out of respect) wherever she goes. She's working on her intimidation factor in the locker room saying, "I don't want to be fluffy."

While much of the feature topics you've seen covered before, like the 2018 US Open final and her mixed race heritage, news of her future plans with Nike hasn't made the rounds yet.

The article states that Nike is going to make her a logo, let her design her match outfits and plans to make a Naomi Osaka streetwear line. This kind of special treatment has only been reserved for the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova. Not even Serena Williams had a Nike streetwear clothing line, though she's now got her own brand.

Osaka pulled out of Rome with a hand injury, but is in Paris getting ready for the Slam's start on Sunday.
