Much to the delight of his many fans, Juan Martin del Potro looked healthy and in-form in Rome. He made his way to the quarterfinals, where he hit an incredible pickup drop-shot winner and held two match points against Novak Djokovic in the second-set tiebreaker.

Though he failed to convert either of his match points, and ultimately lost 6-4, 6-7 (6), 6-4, it's just his third event of 2019 after recovering from a kneecap fracture.
