Serena Williams has not had the best time on the court in 2019, after having reached two Slam finals last year.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has seen some success, but she has only played in 11 tournaments since her return from maternity leave—four of which she has either retired or withdrawn from.

Perhaps other players are rising to the challenge of facing Serena because they're not as intimidated as they used to be or maybe it's all of her nagging injuries. Knowing Serena, it could be a simple slump that she will rebound from in a big way.
