Hot Shot: Sonego weaves forehand passing shot in Rome

Italy's local hero Lorenzo Sonego did everything he could to thrill the crowds and push Karen Khachanov in Rome on Monday. The world No. 67's effort can't be questioned, as evidenced by making the hot shot of the day.

Sonego beat Khachanov in his Monte Carlo breakthrough just last month when he reached the quarterfinals as a qualifier. A repeat upset was too much to ask for as he fell 6-3, 6-7 (1), 6-3 in the first round.

Khachanov, the No. 11 seed, takes on Roberto Bautista Agut next.
