As if Reilly Opelka needed a boost for his booming serve. The 6"11" American's biggest weapon was lifted by 20 m.p.h. gusts in Estoril during his second-round match against Gael Monfils on Wednesday.

Monfils laughed the bad luck off, and would end up the victor by a lopsided 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 scoreline. The wind really made an impact with Opelka hitting just five aces and getting broken four times.

With Opelka out, Frances Tiafoe is the last American standing in Portugal.
