The new frame commemorates Naomi Osaka's historic rise to No. 1 ranking.

Over the past year there have been a lot of firsts in Naomi Osaka’s career. She won her first Grand Slam at the US Open, backed that up with her first Australian Open title and became the first Japanese player—male or female—to be ranked No. 1. With all that she’s accomplished, it seems only fitting that she should now have her first commemorative racquet.

The EZONE 98 Limited Edition was made in collaboration with Yonex to celebrate Osaka’s historic achievements. The specs of the frame are the same as the standard EZONE 98, but with a gold and black cosmetic treatment. Only 1300 models will be available for US customers to purchase. Each frame will be etched with a unique number representing its place in the series (e.g. 0045/1300).

The EZONE Limited Edition will be available for pre-sale ($229) at participating retailers starting May 1. The racquet will launch worldwide on August 9.
