Game. Set. Latch.

Whether it comes down to acres or aces, Serena Williams knows how to win. The latest example: She has sold her Bel-Air mansion in Los Angeles for $8.1 million, notably winning less on it than initial listings of nearly $12 million (in late 2017) and then just under $10 million, per the Los Angeles Times. Still, she netted a profit on the place, which she purchased in early 2006 for $6.6 million, according to Architectural Digest.

The home features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, elaborate details such as marble and hardwood floors, a full-scale salon, a pool house and many more amenities.

Architectural Digest extrapolates on the home's finishings in a story featuring a few photos of the property, which includes dramatic interiors including a sprawling main living room with lavish decor and natural light in spades. Overall, the residence features a "baby blue facade" and "rustic-chic interior" in AD's estimation.

Williams didn't go far in selling this home, which harbors 6,100 square feet and was built on nearly three acres. She, husband Alexis Ohanian, and daughter Olympia still reside on L.A.'s Westside in Beverly Hills since the infant's birth in September 2017.
