Earlier this week, Magic Johnson abruptly stepped down as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. He wants to be free of management obligations to pursue other endeavors—one of them, apparently, being a mentor to Serena Williams. According to the legendary basketball player, the 37-year-old called him up and asked him to take a seat on her advisory board.
Magic said he would be glad to, during the impromptu (and bizarre) press conference. Yet no one knows if this will end up happening. The two sports legends are friends, but this has seemingly come out of nowhere. What do you think?
