The WTA Tour has seen 14 champions in 14 tournaments in 2019, and at the four biggest events so far, the winners have all been 22 and under: Naomi Osaka, Belinda Bencic, Bianca Andreescu and, at the Miami Open on Saturday, Ashleigh Barty.

The Premier Mandatory title marks Barty's biggest singles triumph yet, as well as her entry into the Top 10.

The internet, expectedly, was thrilled to celebrate Barty's breakthrough to the next level—Judy Murray even shared shared this dual-picture gem, of her winning trophies in both 2002 and 2019.
