Sometimes two sports collide, and in Miami, they met in a big way.

Garbine Muguruza and retired Spanish soccer superstar Carles Puyol rallied together while the former world No. 1 was in the sunshine state for the Miami Open. The 20th seed had some time for fun before her first round match against Monica Niculescu.

For a soccer player, obviously not used to using his hands, he did well, even throwing some slices into the mix. Muguruza wasn't the only tennis player to hang out with Puyol as Novak Djokovic also spent time with him.

The Serbian is the No. 1 seed in the Miami Open and will take on Bernard Tomic in the first round.
