Famous players get bombarded by fans everyday, especially huge stars like Rafael Nadal. It can be hard to navigate through the screaming fans, flashing lights, and dozens of Sharpies.But the Spaniard is a class act and likes to sign things for fans; tennis balls, shirts, etc.

In Indian Wells, he signed a different piece of merchandise: a Roger Federer hat. Whether it was a cheeky move by the fan or the person simply didn't have anything else for Nadal to sign will remain a mystery, but Nadal was courteous and signed the hat.

The two rivals and friends were meant to meet in the semifinals of Indian Wells on Saturday, for the 39th edition of their historic rivalry. It was not to be though as Nadal pulled out with a knee injury he sustained in his semifinal against Karen Khachanov.
