Roger Federer made quick work of Hubert Hurkacz to ease into the BNP Paribas Open semifinals, 6-4, 6-4. He was so comfortable after the one hour and 13 minutes on court, the 37-year-old spent more time than usual signing autographs for fans.
The Swiss was in excellent form, as evidenced by this point early in the second set:
Federer awaits the winner of Rafael Nadal and Karen Khachanov. The world No. 4 has a sparkling record in Indian Wells to boost his confidence even further. He's 12-1 this season and has a 66-12 record in Indian Wells, with five career titles.
