Belinda Bencic is into the semifinals of the BNP Paribas Open behind her sixth Top-10 win in three weeks. The Dubai champion got past fifth seed Karolina Pliskova on Thursday, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

The Swiss has been on a huge roll over the past few weeks, and this was her first set dropped in the WTA Premier Mandatory. She's feeling confident, even telling Tennis Channel's Leif Shiras "soon I will take over your job" after he gave her a special pin for being the first player to come to the studio three times this week.

The 22-year-old also had some fun in the Confessional Cart, sharing what she thinks is the biggest perk of being a pro and who should play her on the big screen.

Bencic is expected to rise back inside the Top 20 for the first time since 2016. She awaits the winner of Venus Williams and Angelique Kerber.
