With the players traveling 11 months out of the year, getting a day off to properly celebrate their birthdays is unlikely. On Tuesday, Daria Gavrilova had to celebrate her 25th birthday in Indian Wells.

Her friends, fiancé Luke Saville and the WTA made it special with a piñata, birthday cake, flowers and a dinner out. She also got the gift of a surprise attack, featuring silly string.

Gavrilova won't have much time to enjoy her birthday as she is set to face Dayana Yastremska for their first career matchup in the opening round of the BNP Paribas Open on Wednesday.
