Monica Puig has added some Grand Slam-winning experience to her team, bringing in Kamau Murray, former coach of Sloane Stephens.

The 2016 Olympic gold medalist announced the news on Tuesday by sharing a picture captioned "New team.. who dis?!" from Murray's XS Tennis Village in Chicago.

Her team will also include Stephens' former hitting partner, Othmane "Coach OG" Garma, as well as trainer CJ Moore and former Northern Illinois University player Austin Russell.

Puig, 25 years old and ranked No. 59, will look to reinvigorate her game in 2019, as she hasn't won a title or reached a career-high ranking since 2016.

Despite some injury problems, she showed a good deal of promise in 2018, making the semifinals in New Haven and beating Caroline Wozniacki twice.

In the Australian Open this month, she bowed out in the first round with a 6-4, 6-3 loss to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
