Novak Djokovic made history on Sunday when he captured his seventh Australian Open title with a straight-sets victory over Rafael Nadal. Earning his 28th win against the 17-time Grand Slam champion and conceding only two sets the entire tournament weren't the only things that make the Serbian’s triumph special.

The world No. 1’s three-Slam winning streak started seven months prior to the Australian Open final, when he defeated Tennys Sandgren in the first round at Wimbledon.

Since that victory, Djokovic has won 21 consecutive matches at Grand Slams, and has dropped only eight sets along the way. The 31-year-old's streak will be in jeopardy at the French Open, where he has won just once, in 2016.
