It's never too late for a player to reach their full potential.

At 31 years old Roberto Bautista Agut will play in his first Grand Slam quarterfinal after defeating Maric Cilic in an epic five-set match at the Australian Open. Coincidentally, the only other time Agut has managed to beat the Croatian was in Melbourne in 2016.

The Spaniard has reached the round of 16 at all Slams previously. He will also jump back into the Top 20 for the first time since August.

He picked up a lot of attention early in the tournament for being the man to take out Andy Murray. He's also scored wins over the likes of John Millman and Karen Khachanov, and just may have the momentum to keep on winning.

The Spaniard will take on Stefanos Tsitsipas after the 20-year-old defeated Roger Federer in a four-set stunner.
