It's been was a tough few days for the ball kids at the Australian Open, and no, we're not talking about the hot conditions. On Day 2 in Melbourne, a ball boy picked up some unwanted attention for trying to get rid of a really unwanted moth.

Naomi Osaka was closing out Magda Linette when the ball boy was called to duty. The No. 4 seed survived the interruption to close out a 6-4, 6-2 win.

A day later, Frances Tiafoe was facing a huge task in world No. 6 Kevin Anderson. Likely a little distracted by the challenge, Tiafoe tripped over a ball boy during a changeover.

Tiafoe prevailed, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 with a flawless serve-and-volley combo on match point and a celebration so emphatic he needed a ball boy's help to untangle his necklace from his shirt.

The 20-year-old American will take on veteran Andreas Seppi in the third round, while Osaka will play Slovenia's Tamara Zidansek.
