Caroline Wozniacki and Roger Federer have a lot in common this fortnight. Both are ranked No. 3 in the world and are the defending champions at the Australian Open. Both also meant business in their first-round matches on Monday, where they dismantled their respective opponents in straight sets.

The Swiss defeated Dennis Istomin 6-3, 6-4, 6-4, while Wozniacki scored a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Alison Van Uytvanck.
