Now that's basically how you'd expect a match between Bernard Tomic and Nick Kyrgios to end. On Wednesday at the Kooyong Classic exhibition event, Tomic pulled out a trick-shot serve to seal the 6-3, 6-4 win. Somehow, it was the first career meeting between the two Aussies.

The win was Tomic's second of the week after he got past Jack Sock on Tuesday in a deciding tiebreaker. The Australian's ranking is up to No. 85 in the world just ahead of his home Slam, while Kyrgios has dipped down to No. 51.

Tomic will return to the main draw in Melbourne after falling the qualifying rounds last year.
