With just a week until the start of the Australian Open, players are getting busy in Melbourne. Serena Williams has taken on two new hitting partners to prepare for the first Grand Slam of the year: Stefanos Tsitsipas and Grigor Dimitrov.

The Greek sensation met for training with the 23-time Grand Slam champion and her coach Patrick Mouratoglou.

Last year, Williams had to withdraw from the Australian Open, believing she was not yet ready to compete after giving birth in September 2017. Now that she has returned for a full schedule, she's looking to hit with the men, not just fellow WTA competitors.

Men and women players practicing together has become a bit of a trend lately, with Naomi Osaka and Andy Murray hitting together just before New Years Eve.

Maria Sharapova kicked off the co-ed trend when she took the court with Rafael Nadal in Rome last year.
