Ana Ivanovic has stayed busy since retiring from tennis in late 2016. The Serbian has remained an ambassador for UNICEF and PlaySight, and has recently graced the cover of Vogue Germany.

Ivanovic stuns in photos alongside her husband, professional soccer player Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Starring in a promotional photoshoot and video for the piece, the couple talk about their relationship and what they have gained from each other. They got married in 2016 and had their first child, a son, in 2018.

"When you find the person you want to share your life with, of course there has to be love, but also respect and understanding," Ivanovic said. "It's also important to have communication because at the end of the day everything is doable."

The former world No. 1 wasn't the only tennis player to be announced in an issue of Vogue this week. Angelique Kerber will be part of the February edition, earning her own cover shot.

Kerber finished second place alongside her teammate Alexander Zverev at the Hopman Cup, falling to Roger Federer and Belinda Bencic in a dramatic deciding mixed doubles match.
