It's been 16 months of firsts for Simona Halep. Since October of last year, she was ascended to the No. 1 spot for the first time, won her maiden Grand Slam title in Paris and finished year-end No. 1 twice.

Now she gets to be called ITF world champion, also for the first time. Novak Djokovic was named men's champion, marking the sixth time he's received the honor.
