Pouille was a member of the Davis Cup team that just reached the final. Playing in the last-ever Davis Cup in the original format, Pouille has said he will never play the team event again as he's strongly against the changes coming in 2019.

The 24-year-old had a decent year in 2018, winning one title in Montpellier and finishing at No. 32. But his ranking has dropped as he was at a career-high of No. 10 in March.

Mauresmo, a two-time Grand Slam champion, worked with Murray from June 2014 until 2016. Before that she worked with other French players Marion Bartoli and and Michael Llorda as well as former No. 1 Victoria Azarenka.
